Sideband Records is a new Chicago-based label for contemporary music. It presents different voices from the New Music scene – chamber music, electronic music, and artists who move between the worlds of improvisation, composition, and performance. Sideband Records was founded as a label for artists by composers Chris Mercer and Hans Thomalla.
