Weston Olencki
Weston Olencki is a musician from South Carolina, living now in Berlin. Their recent work deals with the non-linear relationships and unexpected resonances between experimental sound, geography, historicity, and (mostly American) musical traditions. They have presented work at the Borealis Festival, Donaueschinger Musiktage, Lampo, Black Mountain College, Roulette Intermedium, Jalopy Theatre, among others. Various recording projects have been released by Longform Editions, Dinzu Artefacts, SUPERPANG, Tripticks Tapes, PAGANS, Full Spectrum, Hideous Replica, Sound Holes, and Astral Spirits.

Patrick Stadler
Saxophonist Patrick Stadler is deeply committed to contemporary music. As a core member of Ensemble Nikel and through solo projects, he drives the creation of new works, earning him the Swiss Music Prize in 2023. He has performed with orchestras such as the WDR Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Resonanz, and the Basel Symphony Orchestra. His recordings, festival appearances, and radio recordings attest to his dedication. He has been a professor at the University of Music in Nuremberg since 2019 and teaches at the Darmstadt Summer Courses for New Music, supplementing his teaching activities with workshops and masterclasses at renowned universities worldwide.

Katherine Young
Katherine Young uses expressive noises, curious timbres, and kinetic structures in her electroacoustic music and sonic art. Relationship building is central to her practice. She has worked closely with Yarn/Wire, Wet Ink, Dal Niente, Ensemble Nikel, Linda Jankowska, Olivia De Prato, Weston Olencki, and others. The LA Phil, Internationales Musikinstitut Darmstadt, Fromm Foundation at Harvard University, Third Coast Percussion, the University of Chicago’s Smart Museum of Art, and others have commissioned concert music and installation work. Katherine has documented her music as a bassoonist and improviser on numerous recordings, including duos with Anthony Braxton and Sam Scranton (as Beautifulish). She teaches at Emory University in Atlanta, USA, and was a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow in Music Composition.
